LeaderImpact GroupProject Role
Brief
LeaderImpact Group (LIG) is an organization that helps marketplace leaders discover the relevance of faith in their personal and professional lives.
LIG’s philosophy is demonstrated through a process of vision casting, training, and discovery groups accompanied by leadership events and international projects. However, LIG’s previous website was strictly informational and didn’t accurately represent the experience of starting a partnership with LIG. The website’s presentation and delivery of content was not attractive enough for visitors to stay and be engaged with what LIG was doing nationally. The website required a re-evaluation of its structure, content strategy, and redesign of the overall look and feel.
Process & Delivery
The proposal suggested the LIG website content focus to be on editorial items, rather than corporate information, which draws more attention and attracts community/user activity.
The wireframes proposed highlighted key articles that were high in activity rather than static information about the organization. The website took on a blog format, with pages organized in a linear format to proceed telling visitors about the step-by-step process of LIG. An events section was also integrated into the website for easy online registration.
Additionally, the LIG web team has committed to frequently make blog posts and videos that would initiate discussion and comments from visitors.
Considering LIG’s purpose in helping leaders discover relevance of their faith, the approach of offering news articles, testimonial videos, and promoting events through an online outlet assisted in doing that. The LIG team has expressed much satisfaction in their new site and has then requested more projects including a resource management/distribution portal, conference theme branding, and a members forum.
